Each summer, thousands of aspiring and early-career financial planners participate in The Externship, an 8-week virtual experience designed to show them what financial planning looks like in the real world.


From client meetings to industry tools, and from hands-on assignments to expert interviews, Externs get a front-row seat to the profession, thanks in large part to Experts like you.

We’ll schedule it at your convenience — and you don’t need to prep a slide deck!

A casual, Q&A-style conversation

We will highlight your approach to planning, how you work with clients, and what you’ve learned along the way.

In some instances, Hannah may ask you to come to a LIVE call during The Externship. This depends on our curriculum and will be discussed to ensure you’re available!

Optional screen sharing of client deliverables, planning tools, or workflows

We love a good demo; just be sure to redact client info! We also offer you the opportunity to share resources or promote your firm/services!
