If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. Services We Provide
Amplified Planning is an educational platform for financial planning professionals, including those pursuing or maintaining their CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification. Our offerings include:
CORE Membership and CORE+, subscription-based learning memberships
The Externship, a one-time program purchase
The Financial Planning Discovery Videos Bundle
BudgetingBlocks, a physical product
Related courses, assessments, certificates of completion, community forums, and downloadable materials
We may add, modify, or discontinue programs, features, or content at any time. We do not guarantee that any specific course, feature, or piece of content will remain available.
5. Payments and Billing
Payment types. We offer single (one-time) payments and monthly subscriptions only. We do not offer installment or payment-plan billing.
Payment processors. Payments are processed by Stripe (including Link by Stripe), Apple In-App Purchase, and Google Play Billing. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported through these processors. Card and payment details are collected directly by these processors and are never stored by us.
When payment is due. One-time purchases are charged at the time of purchase. Subscriptions are charged at the start of each billing cycle.
Taxes. Prices do not necessarily include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales or other taxes associated with your purchase.
Failed payments. If a subscription payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or cancel your access until payment is successfully processed.
Price changes. We may change prices or modify or remove special offers at any time. If we change subscription pricing, the price in effect when you placed your order applies to that order, and we will provide notice before any changed price takes effect on a future renewal.
6. Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal
Automatic renewal. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us (through our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Billing frequency. You will be charged once per monthly billing cycle on the same day each month.
How to cancel. You may cancel at any time, for any reason or no reason, by visiting your Account page on the Website. Subscriptions purchased through the iOS App or Android App must be canceled through your Apple or Google account settings.
When cancellation takes effect. When you cancel, you will retain access through the end of your current paid billing period. You will not be charged for the following cycle.
No partial-period credit. We do not provide prorated credit for unused days in a billing period.
Managing payment information saved in Link
Link by Stripe is a digital wallet that lets you securely save your payment information to pay faster online. Link also offers order management and support for digital products sold through Link. All subscriptions sold through Link will be canceled and purchase information will be deleted upon deletion of your Link account. To remove your saved payment information or delete your Link account, visit https://support.link.com/how-to-delete-your-saved-payment-information and enter your email address. Link will send a confirmation email to confirm the deletion. Deleting your Link account affects only your saved payment information and Link-managed subscriptions. It does not by itself delete your Amplified Planning account; to delete your Amplified Planning account, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Refunds, Cancellations, and Returns
Thank you for shopping at Amplified Planning! We are committed to making sure you have a great experience with us. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we invite you to review our refunds and return policy below.
7.1 Externship and One-Time Program Purchases
We want every Extern in our programs to be there because they want to be. If you've purchased The Externship or another one-time program and your circumstances have changed, please email us at support@amplifiedplanning.com. We handle these on a case-by-case basis and will work with you in good faith.
Scholarships received after purchase. If you apply for a scholarship from a partner organization (FPA, CFP Board, Schwab, a sponsoring firm, or Amplified Planning) before or after you have purchased a seat to The Externship or our other programs, refunds are not available. This is because our scholarships are needs-based, and our sponsors ask that we award them only to people who haven't joined the program yet.
Partner or university discount codes received after purchase. If you receive an eligible discount code (CFP Board, university partner, sponsoring firm) after you've already paid for The Externship or another program, refunds are not available. Our partner agreements (including CFP Board's) restrict code usage to individuals who have not yet purchased.
Refund timeline. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.
7.2 Refunding Subscriptions
If you purchased a monthly subscription plan, and no continuing education or experience hours were earned and reported, you are entitled to a one-month refund upon cancellation by contacting us to request a refund. Once your refund is confirmed, you will lose all access to the catalogue of courses you were enrolled in during your Amplified Planning subscription.
We aren't required to give you a refund that does not occur within the first thirty days of the subscription or if there has been a violation of our Terms of Service. You are entitled to one refund for one month or annual purchase only. After your refund, any future subscriptions will no longer qualify for the 30-day money back guarantee.
7.3 Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time for any or no reason. To cancel your recurring subscription, please visit your Account page.
If you have canceled your subscription, you will lose access to the catalogue of courses you were enrolled in during your Amplified Planning subscription at the end of your billing period.
7.4 Refunds for Physical Goods
If you have purchased a physical product from Amplified Planning, you are entitled to a refund if the product was received damaged, provided the order was purchased within the last 30 days, the goods were in their original packaging and not used. Only regularly priced goods may be refunded.
Be sure to include photos of the shipping damage. We will have to file a claim with the shipping company.
7.5 How to Request a Refund
For all support issues, including questions about the Refund and Returns Policy, please contact us at support@amplifiedplanning.com.
8. Shipping and Delivery (Physical Goods)
We ship physical products (such as BudgetingBlocks) within a reasonable time after your order, and in any event we aim to ship within 10 days unless we notify you otherwise at the time of purchase. We cannot guarantee delivery dates.
Risk of loss and title for physical goods pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
If your product arrives damaged, see Section 7.4 for the return and refund process.
9. Account Responsibilities
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Account sharing is not permitted. Access is granted to a single individual user. We are not liable for any loss arising from shared or compromised credentials.

12. User-Generated Content and Community Forums

You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and moderate that content in connection with operating and improving the Services.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to post it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
We may review, moderate, edit, or remove any User Content, and may suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion, including content that violates Section 10. We are not obligated to monitor User Content but reserve the right to do so.
13. Disclaimers

14. No Guarantee of Results
Our programs are educational. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including certification, exam passage, CFP Board experience-hour acceptance, employment, income, or career results. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort and the decisions of third parties such as the CFP Board.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services.
We are not liable for any disruption or unavailability of the Services resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting failures, power failures, natural events, or acts of war.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
16. Third-Party Links, Tools, and Services
The Services rely on and may link to third-party platforms and tools, including LearnWorlds, Stripe, Apple, Google, Zendesk, and Meta, among others.
We are not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or practices of any third-party platform, and your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
17. Promotions, Coupons, and Discounts
Promotional offers, coupons, and discount codes may be subject to expiration dates, eligibility limits, and exclusions.
Unless expressly stated, discounts cannot be combined, have no cash value, and are non-transferable.
See Section 7.1 for how scholarships and partner or university discount codes received after purchase affect refund eligibility.
18. Suspension and Termination of Access
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, non-payment, abuse, fraud, or misuse.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Cancellation of subscriptions is governed by Sections 6 and 7.
Upon termination, your right to access the Services and content ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
19. Dispute Resolution
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@amplifiedplanning.com and give us a reasonable opportunity (at least 30 days) to resolve the issue. Most concerns, including billing and subscription disputes, can be resolved this way through direct contact with customer support by emailing support@amplifiedplanning.com or visiting our support page: https://www.amplifiedplanning.com/support .
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms and update the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by email before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept them.
21. Accessibility
We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards and best practices regularly.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
We have installed an automatic accessibility tool that runs in the background. This tool runs AI and machine learning to remediate accessibility deficiencies in the HTML code. In addition, it provides an interface that allows visitors to manipulate their browsing experience. The complete toolset aims to assist this site in conforming as closely as possible to the standards by the WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Additional Accessibility Considerations
Although our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we have also applied some Level AAA Success Criteria: Images of text are only used for decorative purposes. Some WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements are not included in the remediation process as they are outside of the scope of the website source code, including but not limited to video captions.
Measures Taken by This Website to Achieve Compliance
Complete WCAG 2.1 Level AA website audit and remediation on page load. All on-page elements are scanned and reviewed against our accessibility standards library to ensure compliance. If remediation is required, the element is tagged, and our AI remediation tool makes necessary, non-invasive corrections on the client-side of the site.
Auto image and link recognition and remediation for content that does not contain alt or title text for users that require screen reader access; descriptions are stored for user adjustment to assist our machine learning algorithms.
Quick access to search the Merriam-Webster website for definitions and pronunciations of words.
Colorblindness adjustments to improve distinction between colors for red-green color blindness (Deuteranomaly, Protanomaly, Protanopia, Deuteranopia), blue-yellow color blindness (Tritanopia, Tritanomaly), and other color blindness (Achromatopsia, Achromatomaly).
Reset fonts to Arial or implementation of a dyslexia-friendly font.
Ability to highlight titles and links.
Text magnification.
Content, font, line height, line spacing scaling, and zoom.
Content alignment including left, center, and right.
Dark and light contrast modes and high contrast that increases contrast ratio to 135%, and complete inversion of colors.
Saturation adjustments including high (140% saturation), low (90% saturation), and monochrome (0% saturation).
Complete element color control including title, font, and background color adjustments with color-safe color palettes to ensure optimal contrast ratio.
Ability to stop motion (videos, animated graphics, web element transitions, and similar), hide all images, and mute sounds.
Simple reading guide or more elaborate page mask to assist users in focusing on on-page content.
Highlight element on hover or focus to ensure both keyboard and mouse users can orient themselves on the focused element.
A screen reader that reads back page content on highlight.
Complete keyboard navigation control.
Aggregated settings into browsing profiles to quickly deploy accessibility configurations for multiple user types.
Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technology
We strive to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, and Microsoft Edge.
JAWS and NVDA (screen readers), both for Windows and for Mac users.
Technical Specifications
Accessibility of this site relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browsers and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:
HTML
WAI-ARIA
CSS
JavaScript
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Notes
While our main goal is to make the entire site accessible to all users, there is a possibility that some pages may not have been discovered or do not have a satisfactory accessibility remediation solution at this time. We are committed to constantly improving the accessibility of this site to ensure it is accessible to all.
